Ms. Kreiner is a registered dietitian and quality diabetes coordinator at McKenzie Health Systems, where she has been serving since 2022. In her role, she oversees patients with nutritional needs, conducts assessments and provides dietary supplements as necessary. She also facilitates diabetes education for primary care providers, emphasizing the importance of medical nutrition therapy in regions with limited dietitian services. Her expertise in diabetes education is widely recognized, and Ms. Kreiner is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Before accepting her current position, Ms. Kreiner excelled for six years as a Clinical Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Quality Coordinator in a rural health system also in need of diabetes education. In 2020, Ms. Kreiner relocated to a health system that was looking to start a diabetes program. At this time, Ms. Kreiner has spent 6 years overseeing an Accredited/Recognized Diabetes Program. Ms. Kreiner, as stated above, is currently on her second diabetes program that she, herself, has started and is offering a well needed service to a community in great need.

Ms. Kreiner has experience working within the Women, Infant, & Children's (WIC) state program offering nutritional support to high-risk mothers, infants and children five years and under, as well as local county behavioral health systems assessing and supporting individuals with behavioral disabilities in need of nutritional support.

In addition, Ms. Kreiner is currently working as a remote Dietitian for a company out of California, providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for diagnosed issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc.

Ms. Kreiner's passion, however, lies within the diabetes sector. Her love of educating individuals on managing diabetes goes above and beyond.

Ms. Kreiner relies on exceptional academic training and is proud to hold a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University, from which she graduates magna cum laude. Additionally, she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1991, and Ms. Kreiner's certification as a registered dietitian further solidified her expertise in the field.

Ms. Kreiner attributes her success thus far to sustained family support, including that of her husband and children, and she acknowledges accepting positive guidance from her brother, who provided clarity when needed. She achieves balance through activities such as camping, listening to music, cooking and spending time with her two children. Looking toward the future, Ms. Kreiner aims to persist in empowering individuals through education, and by extending her reach beyond the immediate community, she hopes to inspire positive change and better health outcomes for those she serves.
