He currently serves as Executive Director of ClimateTech Investments & Strategy at J.P. Morgan, where he has been instrumental in advancing the company's climate initiatives since 2023. In his role, he focuses on driving strategic investments, innovation strategy and partnerships with cutting-edge companies across the ecosystem, integrating climate considerations across business units and formulating investment strategies aligned with corporate and strategic visions. He is adept at analyzing market dynamics, including technological advancements, and excels in fostering strong relationships with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and investors.

Prior to reaching his current position, Mr. Baruch served as Vice President of Climate Strategy at Moody's Analytics from 2021 to 2023. During this time, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company's approach to climate-related risks and identified key growth opportunities. From 2018 to 2021, he was the Director of Global Energy Markets & Strategic Business Development at Ursa Space, a satellite geospatial intelligence startup, where he led cross-market initiatives to expand and diversify the company's presence across global markets.

Mr. Baruch began his storied career at Morgan Stanley as a Commodities Valuation Analyst for natural gas, power, coal and emissions from 2010 to 2012. This foundational experience set the stage for his subsequent roles, including his time focused on natural gas liquids (NGL) markets at Glencore and multi-asset alternative investments at AllianceBernstein. His tenure as Vice President, Head of Global Energy Strategy & Business Development at GARP from 2015 to 2018 further solidified his expertise in energy. Each of his roles has contributed to his comprehensive understanding of investing, innovation and corporate strategy.

Mr. Baruch's academic background includes a double major in Economics-Finance and Global Commerce & Culture, with a minor in Psychology, from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, where he graduated in 2010. Maintaining a global perspective, he spent two semesters abroad, at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and at Bond University in Australia's Gold Coast. Along with his education, he attributes his achievements to the support of his family, adaptability and a proactive approach.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Baruch is actively involved in several volunteer roles. He is an Advisory Board Member for the Scale for ClimateTech Accelerator, where he provides strategic guidance to drive sustainable innovations across the ClimateTech sector. Additionally, he serves as an Advisory Council Member for the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities and Energy Management at the University of Colorado's Business School, providing guidance on growth and development initiatives to ensure curriculum relevance to the energy industry's current and future needs. His community-oriented work highlights his ongoing desire to help others make informed strategic choices and mentor aspiring young leaders. In his personal life, when not chasing his two young children around, Mr. Baruch enjoys hiking, photography and traveling the world.
