Adjacent to her successful legal career, she is committed to volunteering in her local community, where she is known for helping underprivileged children, providing pro bono services, and providing her time to support positive change.

Prior to founding Thrive Family Law LLC last year, Ms. Paine served as a shareholder at another local family law firm where she learned from Leslie Hansen how to hone her skills in family law. Prior to this, she served as a deputy district attorney for Adams and Jefferson Counties from 2015 to 2020. Her various federal judge extern clerkships and internships at the Public Defender's Office provided her with invaluable experience in the legal system.

Ms. Paine's academic background laid a strong foundation for her legal career. Although she was a first generation college student she quickly excelled and received a full academic scholarship from the Reisher Family while she attended the University of Northern Colorado. She eventually graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and communication studies with a legal studies minor. She later earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence cum laude from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and also attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Throughout her career, Ms. Paine has been recognized for her contributions to the legal field. She has received accolades such as the Avvo 10/10 Award and maintaining that award since 2023, was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star and Best Lawyer One to Watch since 2022. As a member of the Colorado Bar Association, she remains actively engaged with industry-related organizations, further solidifying her reputation as a leader in family law.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Paine is deeply committed to civic engagement. She serves as a court special advocate for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children and volunteers with the Alliance to Lead Impact in Global Human Trafficking. Her dedication extends to judging mock trials, serving on the advisory board for Precious Child, and volunteering for gift-giving initiatives for children.

Ms. Paine's passion for advocacy is reflected in her publications and projects. She writes numerous family law articles and blogs on a yearly basis and most recently presented on domestic violence at the Family Law Institute, the largest family law conference in the state of Colorado. Her work has also been prominently featured in ColoradoBiz Magazine, Canvas Rebel, Superlawyers.com, and the Campbell Law School Law Review.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Paine cherishes time spent with her family and enjoys activities such as hiking, going to the beach, traveling, weightlifting, doing yoga, and meditating.
