Ms. Walters is a systems engineer III at Verily Life Sciences, a position she acquired in 2024. In this capacity, she oversees complex systems engineering projects, contributing to developing and implementing innovative solutions within the life sciences sector.

Before joining Verily Life Sciences, Ms. Walters was a human resources systems analyst at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona from 2022 to 2024. In this role, she was instrumental in optimizing human resources systems and processes, ensuring efficient workforce management. Ms. Walters also garnered success as a human resources workforce technology system analyst at The Walt Disney Company through Ajilon between 2019 and 2020.

Ms. Walters's earlier roles laid a strong foundation in technical support and analysis. These roles included support analyst at Sitelock, consultant and hosting support I at GoDaddy, and business analyst in decision support and finance at Regal Medical Group, dating back to 2013.

In preparation for her future, Ms. Walters graduated with a diploma from Village Christian High School in 2008. Subsequetnly, she received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a focus on criminology and criminal justice from California State University Northridge in 2012.

Ms. Walters has pursued numerous certifications that have bolstered her professional capabilities. She received training in industrial control systems from Homeland Security and completed the Three Pillars of the Azure Cloud course from Cloud Academy. Ms. Walters also holds a CPE in cyber/computer forensics and counterterrorism from The George Washington University obtained and has studied AWS concepts at Linux Academy.

Ms. Walters's expertise in systems engineering is complemented by her membership in the InfraGard National Members Alliance since 2019, where she has been involved with the Texas chapter's technology sector. This association has allowed her to engage with professionals dedicated to protecting critical infrastructure and has enhanced her understanding of cybersecurity and infrastructure protection.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Walters is actively involved in civic-minded organizations. She has volunteered as a cadet with the Los Angeles Police Department's Canoga Park division since 2010, contributing to community safety initiatives. Additionally, she has served as a domestic violence intake clerk at Van Nuys Superior Court House since 2011, where she assists with case management and support services for victims of domestic violence.

In light of her success and dedication, Ms. Walters received recognition as the Salesperson of the Year, highlighting her exceptional skills and leadership.
