Ms. Logg, a retired research and development computer scientist, dedicated over 35 years to the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) between 1971 and 2007. Notably, Ms. Logg pioneered the creation of the first World Wide Web-based local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) analysis systems. In 1991, she made significant strides in network monitoring as a network analyst and developed large-scale LAN and WAN network monitoring systems that automated proactive performance evaluations and reported on various issues. Her innovative approach led to the creation of the first network monitoring and reporting application based on the World Wide Web—an achievement that marked a milestone in her career and underscored her expertise in networking.

As an active professional in her field, Ms. Logg was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and was recognized with several accolades for her exceptional contributions. Along with being honored with the Top 100 Honor from the Top 100 Registry of Business Leaders and Professionals in 2019, she was also recognized with a Top Performer Award at SLAC in both 1996 to 2002. Together, these honors highlight her impact as a leader in her field.

Overall, Ms. Logg's academic background laid a strong foundation for her successful career. She earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California School of Engineering in 1970 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, the year prior. In reflecting on her journey and success, she credits her father's support of her education, as his support providing encouragement that was instrumental in propelling her toward her achievements.

During her academic career and beyond, Ms. Logg devoted her time to several civic-minded organizations, such as the Mortar Board, the Prytanean Society, the Rally Committee, the Honor Society, the Committee on Student Conduct and various judicial committees. All in all, these affiliations reflect her commitment to community engagement and leadership. In her personal life, Ms. Logg remains a devoted mother to three children and enjoys traveling. As she enjoys her retirement years, she plans to continue exploring the world while supporting her grandchildren's education by putting them through college.
