During her tenure, she was recognized for her contributions with several awards, including the Breaking Through Silver Award for the creation of the omnichannel marketing roles and the Breaking Through Gold Award for presenting the omnichannel marketing approach and performance results to the company CEO in Japan in 2022. From 2020 to 2023, Ms. Carter excelled as Director of Oncology Marketing at Eisai, where she continued to drive innovation in the field.

Ms. Carter's career also includes significant roles such as the oncology marketing lead for healthcare professionals and patients at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Inc. from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, she thrived as an associate director for Opdivo, Eliquis, and Abilify at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company from 2011 to 2017 and a product manager for Zyvox Professional, among other roles, at Pfizer between 2006 and 2011. Her entry into the pharmaceutical industry began with a position focusing on cardiovascular and metabolic disease pipelines at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in 2005.

Exceptional academic credentials further define Ms. Carter's presence in the field. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Health and Society from Cornell University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
