ALBUQUERQUE, NM, February 19, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ariel LaNette Lybarger, MaACT, PMP, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Lybarger is an accomplished professional with a diverse career in program management and consulting. Currently, she serves as the associate managing director of program advisory services at Witt O'Brien's, Ambipar Response in the United States, where she is actively involved in expanding service lines within grant management, consulting, policy and procedures, and organizational development spaces. Her focus primarily lies on state and local government, federal agencies and nonprofit organizations. Reflecting on her career, she is most proud of supporting the leadership of a team and managing a $12 billion defense program during her tenure with the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.

Before taking on this position, Ms. Lybarger contributed as a consulting senior manager at Moss Adams from 2023 to 2024, where she specialized in grant management consulting, policy and procedure consulting, and internal audits. For three years prior to this role, she was a consulting manager at the same firm, during which time she successfully helped design and launch several service lines that have contributed to the firm's growth. Her expertise in program management was also honed during her time as a program management analyst and specialist at TechSource Inc. from 2019 to 2022 and Esphera Concepts LLC from 2018 to 2019.

Ms. Lybarger's early career includes two periods of work at Sandia National Laboratories, as a project controller and project manager from 2016 to 2018 and previously as a records and project management professional from 2008 to 2013. Her foundational experience also includes working as an audit and consulting associate team lead at REDW from 2014 to 2016 where she focused on policy and procedure consulting and internal audit, and as a tax accountant at Ricci & Company LLC in 2014. Additionally, she has been imparting her knowledge as part-time faculty in business, hospitality, and technology and project management at Central New Mexico Community College since 2018.

Academically, Ms. Lybarger earned a Master of Accountancy from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management in 2015 and a Bachelor of Arts in professional, technical, business and scientific writing from The University of New Mexico in 2012. Complementing her formal education, she also holds a Project Management Professional certification. Originally planning to pursue law, where she hoped to work in a child advocacy role, Ms. Lybarger decided against this route and opted to go to business school.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Lybarger is actively involved in civic organizations. She has served as a board member for the YMCA of Central New Mexico since 2022 and volunteered with the New Mexico Lung Association from 2012 to 2013. Her dedication to community service is further exemplified by her involvement with Peanut Butter and Jelly and the local children, youth and families department.

In recognition of her professional accomplishments, Ms. Lybarger has received numerous accolades, including a Technical Excellence Award from Moss Adams and several commendations from the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration for excellence and achievement in service. She is also an esteemed member of the Project Management Institute, the National Grant Management Association, and the Grant Professionals Association.

Outside of her career, Ms. Lybarger is deeply committed to her family life. Raised primarily by a single mother who pursued higher education while instilling strength and independence in her daughter, Ms. Lybarger now balances her career ambitions with motherhood, where she finds joy in parenting with her partner and spending time with their young son.

Ms. Lybarger draws inspiration from the resilience demonstrated by the women in her family, including her grandmother who ran a wholesale jewelry company across the southwest and her grandfather who transitioned from farming to building several successful businesses. Looking ahead, she aspires to continue to make an impact on her community, be an active mother, and leave a legacy of community impact through grants and programs that support the future.
