Mr. Mallery is a distinguished professional in the fields of urban studies and planning, as well as project and construction management. In 2024, he launched a small business with his business partner Jeff Dees, where they both serve as principals at coAct24, LLC. Prior to establishing coAct24, Mr. Mallery was project director at Kitchell in Sacramento, California from 2020 to 2024 after serving as senior project manager for the preceding two years. His expertise in design and construction also led him to the title of Design-Build Subject Matter Expert for the firm, supporting firmwide efforts in the procurement and execution of multi-billion dollar projects. From 2016 to 2019, he contributed as a senior controls manager and senior project manager at Roebbelen Contracting Inc. and was a contracts and controls manager at Vanir Construction Management Inc. from 2014 and 2016.

Mr. Mallery's impressive career also includes his role as contracts manager for the San Bernardino City Unified School District Facilities Capital Improvement Program at URS Corporation from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, he worked as a contract administrator and project management professional for URS Corporation on the Los Angeles Community College District Sustainable Building Program from 2007 to 2013. During this period, he played a pivotal role in managing the procurement process for design-build projects valued at $2 billion.

Mr. Mallery's academic background includes a Master of Arts in diplomacy and conflict management from Norwich University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in urban studies and planning from California State University in 2007. He also pursued a two-year architecture program at Pasadena City College before shifting his focus to urban studies and planning. In addition to his formal education, he holds the Design-Build Institute of America Professional certification.

Mr. Mallery is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the Design-Build Institute of America, the Construction Management Association of America and the Project Management Institute. He is also dedicated to civic engagement through his involvement with Habitat for Humanity and a local food bank.

In his personal life, Mr. Mallery enjoys traveling, cycling, hiking, and spending time with his two boys. Looking ahead, he has outlined a comprehensive vision for the growth and development of coAct24 LLC. His strategic plan includes scaling the team, in support of private and public agency owners, having an immeasurable impact on projects that enhance and rejuvenate communities, while achieving significant annual revenue targets, establishing a separate Limited Liability Company dedicated to construction projects and eventually initiating a development arm for the company.
