DAVENPORT, FL, February 20, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brandon Scott Coburn has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
An innovative senior software engineer at EQL Games, Mr. Coburn has demonstrated a remarkable journey in software engineering. Before his current role, he served as a software engineer at Wolfjaw Studios from 2023 to 2024 and as an associate software engineer at the same company from 2022 to 2023. Prior to this, he was a freelancer under contract working on personal servers for FiveM from 2018 to 2022. His career in professional software engineering began with his first engineering role at Wolfjaw Studios, where he was tasked with developing a complex backend framework for a critical project, requiring him to master an entirely new technology stack. This experience reinforced his belief in the power of systematic learning and adaptability.
Before transitioning into the tech industry, Mr. Coburn gained valuable leadership experience as a store manager at AT&T from 2013 to 2014. His professional journey began in the U.S. Navy, serving as a third-class petty officer from 2010 to 2012. Despite an early departure due to injury, his time in the Navy instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and work ethic, which have been instrumental in his career development. Mr. Coburn participated in the historic Human Flag recreation at Naval Station Great Lakes in 2010.
Mr. Coburn's educational background includes a certificate in computer science from Full Sail University in 2023. During his studies at Full Sail University, he was inducted into The National Society of Collegiate Scholars in recognition of his academic excellence, placing him amongst the top 10% in his graduating class nationwide. His perseverance and passion for technology have been key drivers of his success.
Central to his journey has been the extraordinary support of his wife, Stephanie Coburn, whose unwavering belief in his potential has been instrumental in his success. Additionally, his professional journey has been significantly shaped by three influential mentors: Matt Van Dusen, Alexander Macey, and Austin Mayberry. These mentors provided guidance at different stages of his career, from initial career direction to technical growth and leadership development.
Mr. Coburn is currently seeking a patent for an innovative algorithmic system he developed called "Culturalithm" for software currently in development— CARES (Continuously Adaptive Resume Evaluation System). This system aims to improve the interview process by aligning candidates with company culture using advanced data analysis techniques, including natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers), and compositional neural networks. This project reflects his dedication to enhancing recruitment practices and helping others find their best selves. The system analyzes diverse data sources, including image data, through a complex weighted algorithm, performing comprehensive sentiment analysis and creating intricate comparisons between candidate profiles, job requirements, and organizational culture parameters. Legal professionals have confirmed its patent-worthiness. He plans to release it as part of a larger system called CARES with the assistance of two engineers in his studio. Although his studio has not yet released any projects, Mr. Coburn remains committed to progressing and achieving his goals.
