Drawing upon decades of vocational experience, Mr. Seelye is well-regarded as a business professional within the field of automotive services. As the owner and president of Seelye Auto Group, he specializes in the sale of new and used vehicles, including Kia, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram cars and trucks. Notably, Seelye Auto Group boasts four locations in the state of Michigan: two in Kalamazoo, one in Paw Paw, and one in Battle Creek. Impressively, in 2023, Seelye Kia of Kalamazoo was the first Kia dealer in the United States to complete Kia's new sales showroom and service department dealership rebrand model. As part of his routine tasks, Mr. Seelye is responsible for visiting job sites, communicating with location managers, working with customers and managing business finances. Notably, Mr. Seelye's family has owned and operated Seelye Auto Group since its founding in 1963. Mr. Seelye began working with the family business during seventh grade, at which point he began learning the trade and assisting with vehicle detailing. Prior to ascending to the roles of owner and president of Seelye Auto Group, Mr. Seelye served as the general manager and the vice president of operations. He has also lent his time and expertise to the West Hills Athletic Club, where he previously served as a certified personal trainer.

To complement his career trajectory, Mr. Seelye pursued a formal education, graduating with a bachelor's degree in business from Olivet College in 2001. In addition, he holds several other credentials, including a certification from the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals, a prominent organization through which Seelye Auto Group is affiliated. Furthermore, Mr. Seelye is a past member of the judging committee of the Better Business Bureau in Western Michigan.
