His career in retail began at Walmart, where he held several positions between 2013 and 2021, beginning as a department manager and then as a claims manager. From 2017 to 2021, Mr. Upham excelled as an academy team lead at Walmart in Ooltewah, Tennessee, where he notably developed and executed leadership training at a senior level, achieving a 99% passing rate and training over 300 managers. This resulted in a 20% boost in engagement through improved training standards. Among other accomplishments in this role, he oversaw budgets exceeding $3 million while managing cross-functional projects among the store, market, and corporate teams.

Highly educated, Mr. Upham received a Bachelor of Science in religious studies and education from Southern Adventist University in 2012 and a Master of Business Administration in project management from the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2022. These educational achievements have equipped him with valuable knowledge that has been pivotal in his career. Additionally, Mr. Upham obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as scenario-based learning, blended learning techniques and personal branding.

Besides his primary objectives, Mr. Upham has been a member of the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement, underscoring his commitment to professional development and leadership.
