His extensive experience in investment management began with the co-founding of Geocapital Corp. in 1981, where he served as president until his sale completion in 2004. Geocapital was instrumental in investing in small capitalization companies within the securities industry and grew to manage $2.5 billion in assets before its sale in 1997, which allowed investors to realize substantial profits. In 1992, he co-founded Wheatley Partners, a Venture Capital Partnership specializing in new technologies and training services, encompassing seven separate partnerships.

Mr. Fingerhut's influence extends into various board roles, including his position as chairman of the board of directors for Covenant Leaming Solutions since 2018 and as a board member for Wizmo Inc. since 20 I 7. He also served as a director for Carriage Services from 2012 to 2023 and was involved with the National Forest Foundation from 2012 to 2019. His academic background includes a Master of Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business, earned in 1969, and a Bachelor of Science in pre-law studies from the University of Maryland, completed in 1967.
