Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Wildenhaus is a distinguished figure in the textiles industry and has thrived in the role of founder, principal and director of marketing at Studio Twist LLC since 2012. Her work is characterized by a deep commitment to both authenticity and sustainability and by the creation of custom textiles that align with diverse design concepts and practical operational standards. Notably, Ms. Wildenhaus cites her signature ability to interpret references from interior design firms into unique, high-performing products for hotels as one of her most significant accomplishments thus far.

Before founding Studio Twist LLC, Ms. Wildenhaus excelled as the president of M2W Incorporated from 1998 to 2015. In this leadership capacity, she adeptly managed a multiline sales representative company that supplied a range of diverse products to the hospitality industry, including textiles, furniture and lighting. She initiated her career as an interior designer with Federated Department Stores in 1977, followed by an instructor position at the College of Mount St. Joseph from 1979 to 1980.

Ms. Wildenhaus's expertise in textiles was further honed during her tenure as a woven products designer at Mohawk Industries from 1981 to 1984. She then transitioned to a marketing representative role at The Wool Bureau from 1984 to 1986. Her sales experience expanded with positions at Brintons Carpets (USA) Ltd from 1986 to 1991, Hugh MacKay Carpets, Inc. from 1991 to 1994, Scott Group Studio from 1994 to 1996, and F. Schumacher & Co. from 1996 to 1998. She continued as an independent sales contractor here until 2013.

Broad academic accomplishments forged a solid foundation for Ms. Wildenhaus's advancement. In 1977, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from Mount St. Joseph University, after which she pursued graduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she served as a graduate assistant from 1980 to 1981. Ms. Wildenhaus now proudly holds a Master of Fine Arts in surface design.

Ms. Wildenhaus has humbly accepted numerous accolades for her many meaningful contributions, including the HD Award for Textiles "Celebrating Women's Work" by Studio Twist in 2019 and the Excellence Award for Hospitality Design in 2018. She was also honored by Interior Design Magazine for "Abstract" by Studio Twist. Ms. Wildenhaus attributes her success to determination and resilience, and she persists in seeking positive solutions by working with supportive, productive individuals.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Wildenhaus remains actively involved in civic organizations and philanthropy. She is a founding board member of the Atlanta Chapter of Network of Executive Women in Hospitality and participates in charity work through the organization. She is also a supporter with cuddle+kind, which donates dolls and toys for each one sold to foster children, and her contributions further extend to supporting lacrosse programs and booster clubs. Additionally, Ms. Wildenhaus enjoys sharing her knowledge by participating in workshops focused on textiles at summer camps for adults. She served as PTSA president and School Council Member of Cobb County Schools in support of her children's education and activities.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Wildenhaus plans to deepen her engagement with her passion for textiles by exploring new opportunities to share her skills with others, ensuring that her appreciation for this art form is passed on. She also plans to persist in inspiring others, particularly women, to embrace risk-taking as a catalyst for achieving their dreams. With the unwavering support of her husband and a network of encouraging friends, Ms. Wildenhaus feels fortunate to have a strong foundation that empowers her to wholeheartedly chase her ambitions.
