Ms. Tagliaventi has established a distinguished career in the legal field, currently serving as associate counsel at Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University since 2023. In this role, she is an integral part of the research legal team, supporting clinical trials conducted through Ohio State University. Her responsibilities include handling contract negotiation and drafting on behalf of the medical center and clinical trial investigators. With over a decade of experience in her profession, she has demonstrated exceptional expertise and dedication to her work.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Tagliaventi served as senior associate counsel at the Central Ohio Transit Authority from 2020 to 2023. Before advancing to this role, she held the position of associate counsel at the same organization for the preceding year. Her early career was shaped by her role as a staff attorney for the Honorable Stephen L. McIntosh at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas from 2014 to 2019, where she honed her skills in litigation and legal analysis.

Ms. Tagliaventi's professional journey is complemented by her active involvement in various industry-related organizations. She served on the board of the Capital University Law School African American Law Alumni Association. She has further served as past president of the Black Law Students Association and participated as a fellow with the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team. Additionally, she is affiliated with Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, The Federalist Society, Alpha Kappa Delta International Honor Society, Kappa Gamma Pi and Alpha Phi Sigma.

Ms. Tagliaventi is also very proud of fulfilling the role of president of the Columbus Bar Association. She was elected to the position by the members of the community despite not knowing anyone in Columbus before attending law school. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is committed to civic engagement, volunteering at CHA Animal Shelter and participating in pro bono clinics at Capital University Law School, including Wills and VITA Clinics. She also volunteers at several local church food pantries.

Ms. Tagliaventi's academic background laid a strong foundation for her career achievements. She earned a Juris Doctor with a concentration in small business entities from Capital University Law School in 2013, where she was recognized with the Ambassador Award and inducted into the Order of the Barristers. She also holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees earned in 2010 from Saint Elizabeth University, graduating with the highest honors in sociology and honors in justice studies.

Outside of her career, Ms. Tagliaventi enjoys practicing hot yoga, taking care of her dogs and spending quality time with her family. Looking ahead, she aspires to serve as general counsel, leveraging her unique background in litigation and contract negotiations to become a valuable asset to any organization seeking a multi-faceted legal leader.
