Mr. Abdelhalim has built a distinguished career in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving since 2002. Throughout his career, he has been deployed across the globe, including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hawaii, Guam, Australia, Wake Island, Marshall Islands, Thailand, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Rising through the ranks, he transitioned from an avionics technician to an avionics officer, demonstrating technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to mission success across numerous aircraft types.

Mr. Abdelhalim's career began as an F/A-18 avionics technician from 2003 to 2006, specializing in aircraft communication, navigation, and mission systems. His expertise and exceptional performance earned him a position as an avionics technology instructor at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit, where he served for the next three years. Committed to continuous learning, he pursued his education in the evenings, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2009.

Following his academic achievements, Mr. Abdelhalim advanced to the role of aviation maintenance control manager with VMFA-314 "Black Knights," serving from 2009 to 2012. His leadership and technical expertise led to his selection and promotion as an avionics officer for VMA-513 "Flying Nightmares," and VMA-211 "Wake Island Avengers" from 2013 to 2015 overseeing AV-8B Harriers. He continued to excel in similar roles with HMH-461 "Iron Horse," managing CH-53E Super Stallions from 2015 to 2018.

Mr. Abdelhalim transitioned into a new chapter of his career as a limited duty officer, serving as the avionics department head for Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 "Black Widows" from 2018 to 2021. In this role, he oversaw advanced avionics maintenance operations and played a pivotal role in the establishment of two F-35B squadrons. His expertise and leadership earned him a hand selected appointment as the avionics officer for Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1), the most prestigious units in Marine Corps aviation. Over the next two years, he was entrusted with overseeing avionics operations for every aircraft model within U.S. Marine Corps Aviation portfolio during the elite Weapons and Tactics Instructor Exercises. In this role, he ensured the highest standards of combat readiness and technological excellence while orchestrating high-level, complex operational simulations.

Mr. Abdelhalim's dedication to continuous learning is reflected in his distinguished academic achievements. In 2020, he graduated with honors from the Command and Staff College Distance Education Program at Marine Corps University. Building on this foundation, he earned a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Southern California in 2022. His exceptional academic performance and leadership earned him selection into the Order of Arête, USC's highest honor for graduate students. In recognition of his outstanding contributions and excellence, he was chosen to represent the students and faculty of Bovard College as a flag bearer in the university's main commencement ceremony.

Mr. Abdelhalim's currently holds a key position at Program Management Activity 209 Air Combat Electronics as the digital interoperability Marine Air-Ground Task Force Agile Network Gateway Link military lead responsible for prototype development and fielding, a role he assumed in 2023. He holds several certifications, including a Project Management Professional certificate from the Project Management Institute, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Naval Aviation Enterprise and a DAU Life Cycle Logistics Level I from Defense Acquisition University.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Abdelhalim credits much of his success to the values instilled in him during his upbringing on an olive farm by his grandfather. Lessons in teamwork, resilience, initiative, and accountability became the foundation of his character and leadership. His interest in the military was first sparked by a Marine recruiter during his high school cross-country days, setting him on a path of service that led to a distinguished career in Marine Corps aviation.
