Concurrently, Ms. Keeton has been active as an alderman for the Town of Decaturville, Tennessee, since 2012. Her political career continually progressed, earning an accounting and financial director position for the Decatur County Government in 2018, where she is responsible for managing payroll and accounting for the entire county while ensuring the office runs smoothly. Additionally, since 2022, Ms. Keeton has served as the county commissioner for Decatur County.

Ms. Keeton's previous experience includes serving as a market builder for Monat Global from 2017 to 2021. She also owned Poplar Drive Photography in Decaturville, a venture she started in 2018, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and creative talents. Her work included family photo sessions, newborn sessions, school pictures, and other life events. She was also a financial reporting specialist I at American Health Partners Inc. between 2016 and 2018, accountant at Jones Motor Company from 2015 to 2016, marketing coordinator at American Health Partners Inc. between 2008 and 2014, support and development director at WUTM FM 90.3 from 2008 to 2009, and camera operator at WLJT between 2006 and 2009.

Ms. Keeton's educational background has been instrumental in her professional success. She earned a Master of Business Administration in Leadership from Freed-Hardeman University in 2012 and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Broadcasting from the University of Tennessee (UT) at Martin in 2009. Her academic achievements are complemented by her certification as a certified county finance officer, which underscores her expertise in financial management.

Ms. Keeton is involved in industry-related organizations like the National Association of Realtors. In addition to her professional endeavors, she is deeply committed to civic engagement. She was a member of UT Martin's Young Alumni Council from 2012 to 2014, and frequently supports St. Jude. Ms. Keeton served for one year as the vice president of the Decaturville Mainstreet Association, and was a board member of the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse of Decatur County between 2014 and 2021.
