Mr. Flanigan's career also includes significant roles such as manufacturing engineer II at Honeywell-System Sensor from 2008 to 2012 and packaging supervisor at Mondelez International from 2007 to 2008. His professional journey began in 1993 when he worked as an industrial engineer at UPS and includes multiple roles at Ford Motor Company as a zone supervisor and manufacturing operations specialist. Notably, during his time at Ford, he was instrumental in launching the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models and implementing Lean Six Sigma practices across the plant.

Educationally, Mr. Flanigan holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering technology from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, which he completed in 1992. To augment his knowledge and qualifications, he has earned several certifications that have furthered his career, including as an ISO 9001 lead auditor in quality certification from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the Lean Six Sigma green belt certification from Ford Motor Company.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Flanigan is actively involved in civic organizations such as the Omega Psi Phi fraternity, where he participates in initiatives like the Toy-Breakfast Drive and college scholarship programs.
