Mr. Kaipu started his storied tenure at VMware in 2014 as a manager of research and development, a position he held until 2016. He was then promoted to senior manager of research and development and led significant initiatives in Mobile, Cloud, and AI domains. The VMware Cloud Foundation 5.0 project, for which he served as the engineering lead, involved managing and coordinating the work of more than 300 engineers across three major global locations and marked a crucial milestone in his career.

Mr. Kaipu began his career as a graduate intern at Symantec in 2006, where he gained foundational experience in software engineering. He took on the role of lead engineer at Samsung Electronics from 2007 to 2011 and held the same position at Nokia from 2011 to 2012, contributing to the development of mobile computing technologies such as Android and iOS.

Mr. Kaipu's equally impressive academic background includes a Master of Science in engineering software systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, earned in 2006, and a Bachelor of Technology in computer science and engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, completed in 2004. To augment his knowledge and qualifications, he is certified as a SAFe 5 architect from Scaled Agile Inc. and an AWS certified solutions architect associate from Amazon Web Services. He also holds certificates in managerial leadership from Emory University Goizueta Business School as well as innovation management from Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
