Mr. Chicas' career journey includes significant roles such as general manager of construction management and rehabilitation with Weston & Sampson from 2018 to 2020 and project manager at Southern Cross Corporation from 2017 to 2018. His earlier experiences include supervisory positions at SUEZ and a series of leadership roles within the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for 17 years. His military service included support battalion operations manager and marine combat instructor positions.

Mr. Chicas holds a Master of Business Administration in project management from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University, earned in 2020. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science in technical management, with a concentration in project management, from DeVry University in 2018 and an Associate of Science in computer networking from the same institution in 2017. Additionally, he earned an associate degree from the College of DuPage in 1997. His educational background has been pivotal in shaping his career trajectory, providing him with the skills necessary to excel in various managerial roles.

Driven to further his education, Mr. Chicas is certified as a project management professional through the Project Management Institute. Similarly, he has held an aircraft maintenance ground support equipment mechanic certification from the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center since 2000. These certifications underscore his technical proficiency and commitment to professional development.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Chicas is actively involved with the Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting his dedication to civic engagement and support for veterans. In his personal life, he is a motorcycle enthusiast who builds custom choppers. He is also a devoted father to one son and one daughter.
