Mr. Raffaeli is a distinguished human capital expert, entrepreneur and educator with over 30 years of experience in major global corporations. Since 2011, he has served as the co-owner and president of C3 Investment holdings LLC, overseeing vineyard, winemaking, and real estate investments in Argentina and a whisky operation in Scotland. In 2020, the New York International Wine Competition named his wine operation the "Argentina Barrel Aged Winery of the Year" and in 2021 the New York international Spirits Competition named his Scotch entry the "Blended Scotch Whisky of the Year". Mr. Raffaeli's entrepreneurial spirit is further exemplified through his subsidiary company, National Pastime Productions LLC, which produced the stage play "A Lucky Life", highlighting the life of baseball legend Lou Gehrig.

Having led a diverse and rewarding career for over 45 years, Mr. Raffaeli served as the senior vice president of human resources at Thomson Reuters, where from 1998 to to 2011 he led the human resources function for the 24,000-employee Professional Division. Before joining Thomson Reuters, he was the managing director of human resources at UBS between 1995 and 1998. Mr. Raffaeli was also successful as the senior operating officer of human resources at Salomon Brothers from 1990 to 1995, where he notably led the implementation of the first large-scale onsite managed health care network in the U.S. His career began at Continental Can Company, where he served in various human resources roles between 1976 and 1990, culminating to his appointment as corporate general manager of industrial relations.

Mr. Raffaeli's academic contributions include serving as a visiting lecturer at Saint Mary's University and the University of Chester between 2010 and 2020. He taught strategic management, organizational behavior and leadership, global business, project management and managing change to international postgraduate students in the U.S. and Thailand. Additionally, Mr. Raffaeli was a Master of Business Administration dissertation supervisor for the Mountbatten Internship Programme.

In preparation for his career, Mr. Raffaeli received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Waynesburg College in 1975 and a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from West Virginia University in 1977. He also completed the wine executive program at the University of California Davis.

Besides his full-time commitments, Mr. Raffaeli has served on numerous nonprofit boards, accumulating over 90 years of aggregate service. This experience includes the vice chair of the English Speaking Union of the United States, president of the board at Literacy Volunteers, Stamford/Greenwich (CT) and chair of the governance committee at buildOn. During his association with buildOn he funded the construction of five schools for underprivileged children in Africa, Nepal, Nicaragua and Haiti.

Known for his integrity and dedication to helping others, Mr. Raffaeli's legacy is marked by his contributions to human resources excellence and philanthropy. Eager for the future, he intends to author books that reflect his rich family history for future generations.
