Before founding Christian Duvernois Landscape/Studio, Mr. Duvernois was the owner of Facade Gallery specializing in architectural and landscape drawings, both classical and contemporary. Another focus of the gallery was a selection of European modern and contemporary paintings and sculptures. This Madison Avenue venture, from 1981 to 1990, not only honed his skills in curatorial practices but also laid the foundation for his eventual transition into landscape design. This constant exposure to art played a crucial role in his ability to built a meaningful relationships with artists and to integrate them seamlessly into his projects.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Duvernois is a noted lecturer on European classical gardens as well as an accomplished author, having penned "The Last Garden of Versailles: Marie-Antoinette at Trianon" in 2008. This Rizzoli publication reflects his deep appreciation for historical landscapes and further cements his status as an expert in his field. He is also a member of esteemed organizations such as the American Society for Landscape Architecture and the National Arts Club.

Mr. Duvernois completed a Master of Law degree at the Paris-Assas University as well as a diploma from the European Institute of Community Law. Additionally, he was an active follower of the Ecole du Louvre lectures in Paris. Becoming an American citizen, he is now considering New York his home.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Duvernois enjoys classical music and art, passions that continue to inspire his work in landscape design.
