Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mr. Lester taps a global network of suppliers and engineers to procure cutting-edge tech, including servers and other long-lead equipment, ensuring Denvr Dataworks' competitive position within the data center space. Previously, Mr. Lester served as Chief Operating Officer at Chemstar WATER, where he drove operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives across its Data Center customers.

When asked about his accomplishments, Mr. Lester noted his pride in deploying over 3 gigawatts (GW) of Data Center capacity worldwide, and later supporting an additional 2GW as a key supplier to the hyperscale industry. Mr. Boris honed his craft over the past decade with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Meta, and Google, where he played fundamental roles in scaling supply chain operations to meet the rapid expansion of data centers and the dawn of the digital age. At Google, Mr. Lester spearheaded supplier diversification efforts, introducing new market players to enhance capacity and standardization, strengthening the operational resilience while simultaneously lowering operational costs. During his tenure at Meta, he led transformative projects focused on organizational structure, cross-functional collaboration, contractual risk mitigation, and data center operations. At Microsoft and Google, he managed global supply chain strategies, leading multi-year RFPs that resulted in over $500+ million in cost reductions. Mr. Lester has repeatedly shown his innovative spirit by examining the needs of the organization and challenging the status quo to better meet those needs.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lester had a role at Haden Automotive and Dow Chemical (1999–2004) before joining General Electric in 2005, where he remained until 2015. At GE, he participated in two prestigious leadership programs—the Operational Leadership Program (OMLP) and Corporate Audit Staff (CAS), and was recognized as an individual that could collaboratively solve difficult problems. With expertise spanning locomotive manufacturing, water treatment, jet engines manufacturing, financial services, and turbine assembly, Mr. Lester is equipped with the ability to navigate complex, high-stakes environments. In fact, while at GE Mr. Lester co-authored company standards on revenue recognition and supported mergers and acquisitions valued at over $2 billion.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Mr. Lester is passionate about the data center industry. He serves as the president and founding member of the 7x24 Exchange Minneapolis & St. Paul Chapter, a professional network for data center leaders. A passionate entrepreneur, he has co-founded multiple startups and family businesses. Committed to mentorship, he dedicates time to guiding companies and individuals seeking success in the data center industry.

Mr. Lester holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management (2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. His academic background is further complemented by certifications in negotiation, supply chain strategy, and artificial intelligence from MIT Sloan School of Management and the Kellogg School of Management.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Lester is committed to giving back. He actively mentors students and young professionals, helping them explore career paths and navigate their professional journeys. A dedicated advocate for community service, he serves as an ambassador for Crescent Cove Hospice of Minnesota.

Mr. Lester attributes his success to a strong work ethic, a forward-thinking mindset, and the unwavering support of his family. His drive and resilience were shaped by his early experiences as an immigrant, having arrived in the United States as a child with his parents and grandparents. Settling in Detroit, Michigan, he witnessed firsthand the perseverance required to build a life from the ground up, learning invaluable lessons from the hardships and challenges of starting anew. His grandparents, Riva and Matthew, who survived World War II through multiple evacuations across Eastern Europe, instilled in him the values of determination and adaptability. His grandfather, Matthew, exemplified an unrelenting spirit, continuing to repair watches with precision and dedication well into his 90s. These formative experiences laid the foundation for Mr. Lester's tireless work ethic and deep appreciation for opportunity. Among all his accomplishments, he considers his greatest source of pride to be his family—his wife, Shauna, who has dedicated nearly 25 years to UnitedHealth Group, their son Benjamin, and his parents, Lev and Vera—who have all played an integral role in his journey.
