A seasoned educator and human resources expert with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Lewin serves as chief human resources officer at Providence Health & Services in North Puget Sound, a position he has held since 2022. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of Human Resources functions within the organization. His expertise in human resources has been honed over years of experience in various leadership roles, contributing to his success. Prior to his current position, Dr. Lewin was a human resources specialist at Providence from 2020 to 2022. During this time, he played a crucial role in developing and implementing HR policies that aligned with the organization's goals. Before joining Providence, he served as the chief human resources officer and vice president at the University of Technology in Kingston, Jamaica from 2017 to 2020. His tenure there was marked by significant improvements in HR processes and employee engagement. Dr. Lewin's career also includes a long-standing association with the University of Technology, where he was a lecturer from 2006 to 2019. His academic contributions were complemented by his role as director of human resource management and development at the Bureau of Standards Jamaica from 2013 to 2017.

Additionally, he also served as the director of human resource management and corporate services at the Jamaican Foundation for Lifelong Learning from 2010 to 2013. Throughout his career, Dr. Lewin has been an active member of the National Honor Society, reflecting his commitment to excellence in his field. Dr. Lewin's educational background is extensive and diverse. He earned an EdD in Educational Leadership in Higher Education from Delaware State University in 2023, which has significantly contributed to his leadership capabilities. He also holds a diploma in Christian Leadership from New Covenant Bible Institute of the Caribbean, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Jamaica, which he earned in 2017, and a postgraduate diploma in education and training from Vocational Training Development Institute that he received in 2007. His master's degree in human resource development from The University of the West Indies, Mona and bachelor's degree in human resource management from the University of Technology in Jamaica laid the foundation for his career in human resources. In addition to his degrees, Dr. Lewin has obtained several certifications that have enhanced his professional skills. These include Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services that he earned in 2021 and a certification in project management from Mona School of Business and Management, which he received in 2009. He attributes much of his success to the loving and consistent support of his mother and the foundation laid by his late grandmother, who instilled in him a drive for a better future.

Dr. Lewin's achievements extend beyond his professional life into civic involvement and recognition through numerous awards. He has been recognized as Law Student of the Year the Most Outstanding Student at the University of Technology in Jamaica in 2018, along with receiving several Outstanding Performance awards that same year. In 2017, he was honored with the International Law Moot Award by the Caribbean Court of Justice and received an Inspire Project Award from Sagicor Jamaica in 2016. As a blood donor, Dr. Lewin demonstrates his commitment to giving back to the community. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr. Lewin enjoys watching movies, teaching, spending time and traveling with family and friends. Looking ahead, he plans to enter the bar to provide expanded services to the immigrant community, particularly concerning employment opportunities. He is actively involved with the Society for Human Resource Management and is working on finalizing a succession plan model for publication.
