From 1999 to 2020, Mr. Sinkus held a series of administrative roles at Marts&Lundy, including several terms on the board of directors, treasurer, secretary, chief executive officer, chair of the board and leader of the higher education practice group. In each position, he was pivotal in shaping the firm's direction and expanding its influence in the philanthropic sector. Before joining Marts&Lundy, Mr. Sinkus gained valuable experience at Yale University and Bucknell University, excelling in roles that provided him with valuable insights into the academic world and informed his approach to consulting in higher education.

A passion for continuous learning prompted Mr. Sinkus to pursue academic excellence, and he holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in English from Bucknell University. In recognition of his persistent dedication to his alma mater, Mr. Sinkus humbly accepted the Loyalty to Bucknell Award in 2024.

Mr. Sinkus actively pursues opportunities for networking, engagement, communicating and mentoring new members of the philanthropy professions.
