HOLLYWOOD, FL, March 07, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ruben N. Gotlieb, JD, LLM, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A distinguished partner at Greenspoon Marder LLP, Mr. Gotlieb has dedicated more than four decades of service to the legal profession. With a particular expertise in international and domestic tax and transfer wealth, he has established himself as a leading figure in his field. He began his decorated career as an assistant to the economic minister at the Embassy of Israel from 1981 to 1982, gaining valuable experience in international relations. He then transitioned to a role as a litigation attorney with the General Services Administration from 1982 to 1983, followed by a position as a government contract attorney at Finley, Kumble, Wagner, Heine, Underberg, Manley and Casey from 1983 to 1984.

Mr. Gotlieb continued to build his legal acumen as a litigation attorney at Broad and Cassel from 1984 to 1985 before joining the Immigration and Naturalization Service as a trial attorney from 1985 to 1986 and later as associate general counsel from 1986 to 1987. His career trajectory took him to Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster and Russell, where he served as an estate planning and immigration attorney from 1989 to 1995. Subsequently, he held the position of vice president at Smith Barney for one year before becoming a senior director at Standard Chartered Bank (formerly American Express) from 1996 to 2009.

Ascending to the role of partner at multiple firms starting in 2009, Mr. Gotlieb served at Gotlieb & Associates for five years, where he specialized in estate planning and international tax cases. He held a similar role at Arnstein & Lehr LLP from 2014 to 2015 and became a partner at GrayRobinson P.A., where he worked for more than seven years in international and domestic estate planning matters and handled pre-immigration tax plans.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Gotlieb has been an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law LLM Tax Program since 2018. Teaching is one of his proudest accomplishments and allows him to share his passion for law with aspiring attorneys. He is also actively involved in industry-related organizations such as the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has served as chair of the Grievance Committee Section 11E for The Florida Bar.

Mr. Gotlieb's strong academic background includes a Master of Laws in taxation from Georgetown University in 1989 and another Master of Laws in international and labor law from the same institution in 1982. He also earned a Juris Doctor from Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at The University of Memphis and holds a Bachelor of Arts in education from Touro University. To augment his qualifications, he is currently licensed to practice law by The Florida Bar.

Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Mr. Gotlieb is also known for his writing endeavors. His contributions within the field extend to publishing insightful articles such as "Hiding in Plain Sight: U.S. Serving as Tax Haven" in the Daily Business Review and co-authoring "Inside the Minds: Estate Planning Client Strategies" with Aspatore Law Books. His outstanding work has been recognized with multiple accolades, including being named among The Best Lawyers in America for Tax Law by Best Lawyers® in 2025 and recognition as a Legal Elite by Florida Trend in 2021.

Outside of work, Mr. Gotlieb enjoys sailing, practicing Taekwondo — in which he holds a seventh degree black belt —and spending quality time with his family. He attributes much of his success to hard work, organization skills, bilingual abilities and having a genuine interest in connecting with others. Inspired by Gregory Peck's portrayal in "To Kill a Mockingbird," he pursued law with determination despite his humble beginnings.

Looking to the future, Mr. Gotlieb plans to continue his practice while exploring opportunities for travel on a more personal scale. His dedication to both professional excellence and personal fulfillment underscores his remarkable journey within the legal realm.
