Ms. Clark, a U.S. Air Force veteran, is a distinguished children's book author associated with Hay Hager and Clammy Children's Books. Her first title, published in 2020, is "Hay Hager & Clammy," a charming story about a clam and a lighthouse who embark on a friendship. The publication of her book marked the culmination of years of dedication to writing poetry and short stories, a calling she has pursued since her teenage years.

Notably, Ms. Clark's success as a writer follows an 11-year career in the United States Air Force, where she worked as a radiology and radiation therapy technician from 1976 to 1987. She faced a traumatic experience during her service that left her permanently disabled; while on active duty, Ms. Clark was forcibly raped by an active duty Air Force male who outranked her. She has channeled her energy into writing and crafting, achieving expertise in these fields. Before embarking on her literary career, Ms. Clark also served as a front desk night manager and auditor at Ramada Worldwide Inc. and Comfort Inn & Suites from 1990 to 1992. Her academic pursuits have been supported by friends, family, and her faith in God, which she credits as her greatest source of strength.

Ms. Clark's educational background includes a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, which she completed in 2002. In 2024, Ms. Clark graduated Summa Cum Laude with her degree in military history from American Military University, where she was on the Dean's List from 2021 to 2022. Her academic pursuits have been supported by friends, family, and her faith in God, which she credits as her greatest source of strength.

In addition to her writing career, Ms. Clark enjoyed being a volunteer teacher with Hampshire County Special Services. Sadly, she is not able to do that anymore. Her commitment to education and community service reflects her dedication to lifelong learning and helping others. Her mottos, "Never give up" and "Try to learn something new every day," underscore her approach to life and work.

Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, Ms. Clark's personal life is centered around her family, including her two wonderful children. When she is not writing, she enjoys designing t-shirts and coffee mugs as part of her creative endeavors. In 2020, she was diagnosed with small bowel cancer, which is now in remission. As a one-time cancer survivor, she was diagnosed in 2024 with breast cancer. She completed her cancer treatment in July 2024. Currently, her breast cancer is in remission and she aims to witness the growth of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Through resilience and determination, Ms. Clark continues to inspire others with her story of perseverance and advocacy for women veterans. Her achievements have been recognized by features in Millennium Magazine and inclusion in Marquis Who's Who, highlighting her contributions to literature and society.
