Most recently, he served as the global head of communications and public relations at BCA Research from 2023 to 2024. In this role, he helped advance the company's insights about market-moving events, global markets and economies and cement BCA's reputation as an essential source of information for the media. Before accepting his appointment at BCA Research, Mr. Oliver held the same position in the asset management division of Euromoney Institutional Investor from 2021 to 2023. In this role, he helped transform the company's culture by creating its first information hub. The Hub helped to inspire greater employee commitment to Euromoney's goals by sharing more frequent information about its mission, values, business strategy, sales progress and the critical roles they played in the company's success. Mr. Oliver's public relations strategy also heightened the company's brand awareness by significantly elevating its share of voice ranking on Bloomberg and other news and information platforms.

From 2020 to 2021, Mr. Oliver excelled as communications leader for Franklin Templeton's specialist investment managers, part of a collaborative team that helped the company navigate its acquisition of Legg Mason. Before this, he served as director and head of U.S. media relations at Legg Mason from 2018 to 2020. Earlier, his career included serving as an advisor and communications director for the democratic leader of the New York City Council from 2017 to 2018 and as a vice president of global communications at Prudential Financial from 1999 to 2016.

Mr. Oliver initiated his career with prominent agencies, including Albert Frank-Guenther Law, David Grant & Partners, Ogilvy, and The Weiser Group. His dedication is further evidenced by memberships in several prominent organizations, including the International Association of Business Communicators, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the Public Relations Society of America.

The pursuit of academic excellence led Mr. Oliver to receive a bachelor's degree in speech communications and journalism from Duquesne University, where he played on its division one basketball team. He also completed the executive education program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Oliver regularly seeks opportunities for civic engagement. He served as a citizen teacher with Citizen Schools and is active in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity where he helps to organize and promote annual college tours where students can witness the transformative power of a college education.

Mr. Oliver achieves balance by gardening and cooking in his personal time. He is proud of his family which includes his beloved wife, a dedicated teacher with the New York City Board of Education, his daughter, a licensed Dr. of Optometry, and his son, who is completing law school.
