He is the owner and president of Advanced Aviation Services, LLC, a small business owned by service-disabled veterans. Since 2020, he has been at the helm of this enterprise, where he partners with TLD America, a leading aviation ground support equipment manufacturer. His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in the company's success.

Before establishing Advanced Aviation Services, Mr. Scipioni had an illustrious career in the military and corporate sectors. He served in the United States Army for 20 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1986. During his military tenure, he was deployed to Vietnam for two years, where he was wounded during his first tour but returned as an aviator for his second tour. His final assignment was at the Pentagon as the assistant director of the Army Staff, supporting the Vice Chief of Staff and the Chief of Staff of the Army. In this role, he contributed significantly to aviation and research and development initiatives.

Following his military service, Mr. Scipioni transitioned to the private sector with General Motors, where he excelled in aircraft engines. He played a pivotal role in the management team that purchased the business from General Motors, leading to its establishment as a separate private entity before Rolls-Royce acquired it. He later worked for a French company and joined Pratt & Whitney Canada. Afterward, he offered his expertise as a consultant for several companies until founding his own business.

Mr. Scipioni's educational background includes both a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in management from Webster University. His academic achievements have been fundamental to his understanding of business development, marketing and sales, particularly within military business development. This knowledge has been crucial to his success in various leadership roles throughout his career.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Scipioni is actively involved in several industry-related organizations. He is a lifetime member of the Army Aviation Association of America. Similarly, he holds memberships with the Association of the United States Army, AHS, the Combat Helicopter Pilots Association and the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association. His military accolades include a Combat Infantry Badge, a Senior Army Aviator Badge, eight Air Medals, three Bronze Star Medals, a Purple Heart, a Meritorious Service Medal and two Legion of Merit awards.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Scipioni is committed to civic engagement through organizations such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He shares his life with his spouse, Marjorie Scipioni, and their family, which includes one child and two stepchildren.
