Mr. Molinaro has dedicated more than 30 years to the Memphis Fire Department, where he currently serves as the division chief of air rescue. His career began in November 1993 when he joined the department as a private. Over the years, he advanced through various roles, including driver, emergency medical services lieutenant and fire lieutenant. In 2012, he transitioned to work at the airport, and by 2019, he was promoted to battalion chief. His expertise in firefighting and emergency management has been instrumental in his current role, where he is responsible for scheduling, staffing, equipment maintenance, budget management and ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.

In addition to his responsibilities at the Memphis Fire Department, Mr. Molinaro has played significant roles within Tennessee Task Force One as a logistics manager from 2005 to 2020. This team is one of the 28 Federal Urban Search and Rescue Teams that have responded to major events such as Hurricane Harvey. His leadership during these critical missions is a testament to his skills and dedication. Furthermore, his involvement with the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Working Group highlights his commitment to advancing airport firefighting standards.

Mr. Molinaro's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in emergency services management from Bethel University's College of Professional Studies in 2022. This academic achievement has bolstered his ability to lead effectively within the fire department and prepare future leaders. He also holds certifications as an airport fire officer from the American Association of Airport Executives and the ARFF Working Group, as well as paramedic and EMT-P certifications from the State of Tennessee obtained in 1994.

His success can be attributed to his determination and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals. These qualities have been pivotal in his rise through the ranks and his ongoing contributions to emergency management and firefighting. Mr. Molinaro's passion for teaching and mentoring others is evident in his efforts to prepare officers for leadership roles.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Molinaro is actively involved in civic organizations such as the Tennessee State Guard, where he has served as a warrant officer and S3 operations and training coordinator since 2017. Additionally, he has coordinated with the ARFF Working Group in Tennessee since 2018.

In his personal life, Mr. Molinaro enjoys spending time with his family, which includes one son and two daughters, as well as working on old cars and participating in church activities. As he approaches retirement from the fire department, he envisions leaving a legacy of servant leadership while continuing to engage with the ARFF Working Group and possibly volunteering in emergency management. His passion for teaching remains strong as he aims to provide greater opportunities for those who follow in his footsteps.
