Before specializing in urology, Mr. Maulik served as a family nurse practitioner at Chesapeake Health Care from 2016 to 2018, where he focused on primary care for underserved communities. Earlier in his career, he was the manager of the traumatic brain injury unit at Deer's Head Hospital Center and spent a decade as the director of critical care at TidalHealth, overseeing multiple intensive care units.

Beyond his clinical work, Mr. Maulik is a national speaker on prostate cancer and men's health, sharing his expertise at industry conferences. He is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology, the American Association for Nurse Practitioners, the American Urological Association, and the Large Urology Group Practice Association.

A passionate advocate for prostate cancer patients, Mr. Maulik has made significant contributions to the field. He established an advanced prostate cancer clinic that has served nearly 4,000 patients and founded a dedicated support group for patients and caregivers. Additionally, he co-owns a patent for the J Channel device, which improves the placement of difficult Foley catheters.

Mr. Maulik's academic journey began with an associate degree in nursing from Wor-Wic Community College, followed by a bachelor's degree from Wilmington University in 2013. In 2015, he graduated as valedictorian with a master's degree in family practice nursing from Wilmington University—an achievement earned while balancing an 80-hour workweek. He holds certifications as a family nurse practitioner from the Maryland Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, along with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Maulik enjoys swimming, pickleball, and Monopoly with his twins.
