BLOOMINGTON, IL, March 17, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Austin Falconer has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Falconer is a distinguished professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as the director of NewTech Engineering at Growmark, Inc. in Bloomington, Illinois. With a career spanning over a decade, he has demonstrated expertise in the agricultural wholesale and retail industry designing custom facilities that ultimately provide farmer with the goods and services necessary to maximize efficiency and profitability. In his current role, he is responsible for projects from concept to completion, overseeing a team of engineers and project managers. His team consistently manages 75 to 85 projects at various stages, from conceptual design to greenfield site development, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Mr. Falconer's journey began at Sargent & Lundy, an engineering consulting firm specializing in the power plant industry. He started as an associate 1 in nuclear power technologies in Chicago in 2012, where he conducted pipe stress analyses for nuclear power plants. Over the years, he advanced to associate 3 by 2014 and took on staff augmentation roles at Fermi II Nuclear Power Plant in Newport, Michigan, and Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

In 2017, Mr. Falconer transitioned to Growmark Inc., marking a significant shift from the nuclear power sector to agriculture despite having no prior background in the field. He initially joined as an associate facility engineer 2, focusing on energy projects and pressure vessel projects such as fuel and propane terminals as well as propane and anhydrous ammonia bulk plants. His dedication and skill led to his promotion to facility engineer after obtaining his professional engineering license. In this capacity, he worked on AgChem and dry fertilizer facilities as well as other projects that enhanced services for farmers.

Among Mr. Falconer's notable achievements is the development of a butane injection systems at several of Growmark's fuel terminals, which resulted in a substantial revenue stream. Implemented across five facilities within budget constraints, this project paid for itself within its first week of operation. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in collaborating with a company to create a custom patent pending solution for dry fertilizer facilities, addressing the challenge of accurately measuring product volume due to the complex shape of stored piles, limited accessibility of the stored piles, the corrosive nature of the products stored, and the dust generated during product transfer.

Mr. Falconer's academic foundation includes a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Bradley University, obtained in 2011. This educational background laid the groundwork for his technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities that have been instrumental throughout his career. Furthermore, he holds a professional engineering license in multiple states and serves as the responsible engineer in charge for the NewTech Engineering division, underscoring his commitment to maintaining high standards of practice within his field.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Falconer is actively involved with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a contributor, reflecting his commitment to civic engagement and community support. In his personal life, he enjoys playing soccer weekly and spending quality time with his wife, their two sons, and friends. Looking ahead, he aims to continue advancing within Growmark with aspirations to eventually oversee the entire engineering and construction division.
