Although she enjoyed her time at Maximus Hair Salon, she strived to advance her career by pursuing her own endeavors, which led to her establishing Rebelle Hair Haus, where she continues to thrive.

Initially pursuing a career in special effects makeup, Ms. Teel was encouraged by film industry professionals to obtain a hair license due to the demand for individuals skilled in both hair and makeup on set. This encouragement led her to enroll in beauty school and apply to John Peri in Lomita, California, where she discovered a passion for hair styling. Her educational background includes college coursework in multimedia and graphic design at Loyola Marymount University and an Associate of Arts in liberal arts. In addition, she is certified in makeup by Studio Makeup Academy.

Ms. Teel attributes her accomplishments to the unwavering support of her family and friends, as well as her hard work, perseverance, continuous learning and love for her clients. Moving forward, she intends to expand her business into a larger space to facilitate teaching classes on scalp care, hair health and hair color. To this end, she is collaborating with a private label to develop her own product lines, further showcasing her commitment to innovation and growth within the industry. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys snowboarding, traveling, biking, hiking and spending time outdoors.
