She served as director of organizational development at Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH from 2016 to 2018, and a change management consultant enabling multiple clients change initiatives since 2014.

From 2008 to 2014, Ms. Goodwin was the director of IT change management, training and communications at Diageo. She initially joined the company as a manager of training and change management for the preceding two years. Before her time at Diageo, she was a manager of training and operations at McKinsey & Company from 1999 to 2005, where she led training and practice development for the NA Marketing & Sales Practice.

Ms. Goodwin's career also includes roles as a specialist in learning and development at Aetna Inc. and a senior consultant at Accenture from 1989 to 1993. Her extensive experience laid the foundation for her later achievements, including helping to grow McKinsey & Company's European Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice from 1997 to 1999, and implementing a payroll organization change management strategy to ensure United Technologies Corporation's successful spin-off in 1999 and 2000.

Educationally, Ms. Goodwin earned a Master of Science in organizational behavior from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Science in industrial marketing with a technical communications concentration from Clarkson University. Additionally, she holds numerous certifications, such as executive coaching in applied neuroscience, certified master neuroplastician, Prosci change management, emotional intelligence (EQi), and SHRM-CР.

Furthering her expertise, Ms. Goodwin is actively involved with several industry-related organizations, including the Association for Talent Development and Society for Human Resource Management. Her contributions to the industry have been recognized with the Anchor Award for exceptional professional success from the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford in 2023. Ms. Goodwin believes in strong collaborations as seen by her coaching/expert relationships with Growthspace Inc., npn hub, and Career Propulsion.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Goodwin has contributed to various publications and projects. She authored "Leading Change with Courage: Navigating the Layers of Change Management" and co-authored "Leveraging Neuroscience Enables Confidence to Build Capabilities," both published in 2024. Additionally, her presentations on change management have been well-received at conferences/association seminars.

Outside her professional life, Ms. Goodwin enjoys spending time outdoors, enjoying all winter sports, swimming, hiking and gardening. She is also dedicated to volunteering in her community, focusing on non-profits, and serves as the Barney School Board of Visitors co-chair. Married with two children, she balances her family life while continuing to pursue her career goals with an emphasis on targeted advisory services where she can engage with multiple clients simultaneously.
