She has been associated with Key Lighting Inc., where she has led a team for live events, broadcast productions and theme park entertainment since 2007. Her expertise spans creative design for theatrical productions, outdoor festivals, esports gaming competitions and theme park entertainment. Ms. Keys is also a member of the International Alliance for Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), the Television Academy and the Screen Actors Guild.

In addition to her work with Key Lighting, Ms. Keys has been a lighting programmer with IATSE Local 728 since 2015. Her role involves collaborating with production teams to achieve the artistic vision of shows through innovative lighting solutions. Previously, she was a lighting programmer and designer at The Walt Disney Company from 2007 to 2014, where she played a key role in projects such as Disney California Adventure's World of Color—one of her most cherished achievements.

Ms. Keys began her career as an electrician and house manager at Fullerton College from 2003 to 2005 before transitioning to an electrician role at Audio Visual Technology from 2005 to 2007. Concurrently, she worked as a lighting programmer and designer at California State University, Fullerton. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theater from California State University, Fullerton, which she earned in 2007, and completed additional coursework at Fullerton College in 2005.

Ms. Keys' passion for performance and creativity has driven her success, allowing her to connect with audiences globally through visual art. Her numerous accolades reflect this passion, including the IAAPA Honors 2024 Winner for Most Creative Spectacle and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lighting Design in 2021. She has also been recognized with the Excellence in Live Design Award for Venue Mad T Party in 2013 and the Award for Outstanding Achievement-Nighttime Spectacular for World of Color in 2010.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Keys has contributed to various high-profile projects and publications, including "The NBA All-Stars" since 2016 and various talent competition reality television shows since 2014. She was also featured on the cover of "Collected Light Volume Three: Women in Entertainment Lighting" in 2024 and shared her insights and expertise in "The Automated Lighting Programmer's Handbook Fourth Edition" in 2021.

Outside of her professional career, Ms. Keys, a Southern California native, enjoys traveling, writing and mentoring aspiring professionals in her field.
