Prior to her tenure at Washington University, Ms. Patterson was a business analyst at the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in 2021. She further honed her analytical skills while working as a business analyst at Bayer Crop Science, Bayer AG, where she contributed to data-driven decision-making processes.

Ms. Patterson's career includes diverse experiences as a senior eCommerce analyst at Maritz Motivation Inc. from 2019 to 2020. Her earlier roles as a contractor for Preferred Resources Inc., a senior systems analyst at Mastercard and various analytical positions at Express Scripts and Enterprise Holdings Inc. have all contributed to her comprehensive understanding of business processes.

During her foundational years, Ms. Patterson worked at the Automobile Club of Missouri AAA as a database marketing analyst from 2009 to 2013 and a pricing analyst from 2003 to 2008, laying the groundwork for her future success in marketing and actuarial services. Taking on internships in actuarial science and communications also provided her with a broad perspective on different industries.

Ms. Patterson's academic endeavors have been a significant factor in her career success. In 2003, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in actuarial science and a minor in English from Maryville University. She later returned to the same institution and earned a Master of Business Administration in business, management, marketing and related support services in 2010. Along with her education, she attributes much of her success to the unwavering support of her family for encouraging her through challenging times.

Ms. Patterson enjoys traveling, karaoke, spending quality time with her friends and family and attending comedy shows. Her personal interests align with her professional aspirations as she plans to support individuals facing emotional or physical challenges through music therapy.
