BOISE, IDAHO, March 21, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christopher Johns, Esq., has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Johns has built a distinguished career in law and is a specialist in mediation and arbitration. He currently leads Christopher Johns Esq. Mediation and Arbitration Services where he facilitates discussions between disputing parties to help them reach amicable resolutions, interfacing with each party to explore their perspectives, and he collaborates with attorneys during these sessions. In this capacity, Mr. Johns leverages broad civil and criminal law experience, trial and appellate law knowledge and keen acumen in personal injury, insurance and real estate law.

Mr. Johns initiated his career after an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Marines, with whom he served from 1968 to 1971, earning the rank of Sergeant (E-5) and humbly accepting a Meritorious Mast for his outstanding service. Subsequently, he pursued legal studies and was honored to be named an extern law clerk for Judge Alfred T. Goodwin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1979. This was followed by a position as a regular law clerk for the distinguished Judge Procter Hug Jr. from 1979 to 1980. Mr. Johns spent three years at Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon LLP before founding his own practice, Johns and Allyn APC, in 1983, which he operated through 2024.

The pursuit of continuing learning prompted Mr. Johns to achieve academic excellence, and his educational credentials forged a solid foundation for his career. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in rhetoric from the University of California Berkeley, from which he graduated with "Great Distinction" and membership in Phi Beta Kappa in 1975. Mr. Johns then obtained a Juris Doctor from University of California Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 1979, where he also served as managing editor of the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review.

Mr. Johns served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution panel for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for two decades, where he acted as a mediator and neutral evaluator. His commitment to justice is evident in his work on death penalty cases before the California Supreme Court and appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, often taking on cases at reduced rates akin to pro bono work. Mr. Johns counts as his most notable achievement an ability to approach his work with persistence and dedication, whether as a trial lawyer or an appellate lawyer.

To maintain a productive network, Mr. Johns sustains membership in several industry-related organizations, including the American Bar Association and the California Bar Association. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his dedication to the profession and was named to the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers list from 1998 to 2024. Mr. Johns also holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and his bar admissions include the United States Supreme Court since 2001.

Mr. Johns credits a strong support network for his success thus far and acknowledges Jack DeMeo as a particularly influential mentor. He also recognizes Ward Tabler for help in perfecting his speech content and delivery. Additionally, Mr. Johns counts Father Jerry Coleman as a close friend and spiritual advisor and honors Al Smith, his former football coach, for instilling in him a cooperative and collaborative spirit of teamwork.

An interest in civic engagement drives Mr. Johns to contribute to his daughter's school and donate to organizations such as the St. Vincent de Paul and Vietnam Veterans of America. Mr. Johns remains focused on raising his daughter and coaching her soccer team while continuing his work as a mediator and arbitrator, reflecting his abiding commitment to both family and community service.
