Before joining HP5 Consulting, Mr. Holzendorf held leadership roles at Emtec Inc. and Cisco Systems, where he played a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge IT solutions to enterprise and government clients. His tenure at Cisco, a global leader in networking and cybersecurity, solidified his reputation as a key strategist in technology sales and consulting. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Southern Strategy Group and served as director of operations and IT at Greenshades Software.

A trailblazer in public sector technology leadership, Mr. Holzendorf made history as the first African American Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of Jacksonville from 2007 to 2011. In this role, he managed a $43 million annual budget and led a team of over 165 IT professionals, spearheading critical technology advancements that enhanced municipal services and cybersecurity infrastructure.

Mr. Holzendorf holds both a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy Analysis and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of North Florida. Further strengthening his expertise in process improvement and leadership, he studied Lean Six Sigma Leadership in Government at the prestigious Lean Enterprise Institute under Dr. Womack, a globally recognized authority on Lean methodology.

Beyond his professional success, Mr. Holzendorf has dedicated his time to civic and industry organizations, serving as Past Chairman of the Board for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority and Vice Chair of the American Public Transportation Association. Under his leadership, JTA launched transformative initiatives, including the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center at LaVilla. His impact extends to nonprofit leadership, with board memberships at the YMCA of Florida's First Coast and the Wolfson Children's Hospital Development Council. From 2007 to 2012, he also served as a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, reinforcing his commitment to youth empowerment.

Mr. Holzendorf is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Leadership Florida Cornerstone, and Leadership Jacksonville. His ability to bridge technology, business, and community leadership has positioned him as a respected figure in both the public and private sectors.

Outside of his career, Mr. Holzendorf is a dedicated fitness enthusiast who enjoys weight training, yoga, and playing chess. His greatest source of pride is his family—his wife, Tracee, of 33 years, and their three accomplished children, all of whom contribute to the Jacksonville community as professionals in their respective fields.
