From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Folsom held the position of director of risk management at GPM Empire LLC, following his tenure as director of risk management at Empire Petroleum Partners LLC from 2019 to 2020. His career at Empire Petroleum Partners began in 2016 when he was appointed credit and collections manager. During this time, he transformed the credit operations department by establishing a comprehensive collections process and customer support system, significantly improving customer service and profitability.

Before joining Empire Petroleum Partners, Mr. Folsom served as a credit and collections analyst at ArcBest Corporation from 2015 to 2016. His earlier roles include credit manager at DCAS Inc., Bear Transportation Services from 2012 to 2015, assistant store manager at Sports Authority from 2006 to 2008, and financial services representative at BBVA Compass, now PNC Bank, from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, his military service in the U.S. Navy from 2008 to 2016, serving in both aviation logistics and tactical security forces, provided him with valuable skills that have contributed to his professional success.

Mr. Folsom's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Texas in 2017 and an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from Collin College in 2015. He also completed coursework in human resources management at the University of North Texas in 2017, criminal justice at Saint Leo University in 2012 and small business management operations at San Diego City College in 2009.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Folsom is actively involved in civic organizations. He served on an advisory board for the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston and has been a panel judge for the Pro Sales Challenge at the University of Texas at Dallas since 2021. His commitment to community service is evident through his roles as a soccer coach for multiple teams in the North Texas State Soccer Association since 2017 and as a volunteer with organizations such as the North Texas Food Bank, Promise House, Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and multiple other organizations.
