Mr. Weber's journey began with a passion for media, storytelling and emerging technologies. He began freelancing at an early age, working with businesses and organizations to create compelling visual stories through multimedia and video production projects. Even in high school, his entrepreneurial spirit was evident as he took on clients, produced award-winning work and built a portfolio that set the foundation for his future. By the time he attended Ohio University, his reputation as a talented multimedia producer had already earned him opportunities with major organizations.
During college, Mr. Weber continued freelancing, working on projects that ranged from promotional content to high-profile video productions. His work with the Greater Cleveland Partnership and the Republican National Convention allowed him to showcase regional business initiatives, while his time with WOUB-PBS saw him produce news segments, television content like "Hardwood Heroes" and "Newswatch," and a documentary on the Underground Railroad. He also produced concert coverage for PromoWest and contributed to various film productions, further expanding his expertise in multimedia storytelling.
One of his most prestigious opportunities came when he worked with WME-IMG and the Miss Universe Organization in New York City, traveling with titleholders to create engaging content highlighting their experiences and global philanthropic efforts. This experience not only allowed Mr. Weber to refine his production skills but also exposed him to the fast-paced world of high-profile media and branding.
His passion for emerging technology led him to Ohio University's Game Research and Immersive Design (GRID) Lab, where he became the lab's first official virtual reality 360 producer. Here, he explored new ways to tell stories through immersive media, helped to develop groundbreaking projects and actively collaborated with faculty to incorporate these innovations into their curriculum. One of his most notable contributions was leading the production of a VR training database for Zuckerberg General Hospital in San Francisco. This project provided valuable training simulations for emergency room medical professionals and was recognized at South by Southwest (SXSW) in 2018.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in communication, majoring in integrated media and minoring in business administration, Mr. Weber took his skills into the startup world. He joined Neuro Rehab VR in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2018 as their second-ever employee, working alongside the founder to build the company from the ground up. As one of the first companies developing VR-based rehabilitation experiences for neurological patients, Neuro Rehab VR pioneered the use of high-tech software to make rehabilitation more engaging and effective. Mr. Weber played a critical role in helping the company introduce this technology to healthcare organizations worldwide, ushering in the next generation of rehabilitation. His responsibilities varied, and as he engaged in efforts ranging from marketing and operations to sales and product strategy, he gained hands-on experience in building a business.
In 2021, Mr. Weber transitioned to Sway Medical in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he worked as a senior marketing specialist and continuing education coordinator until 2024. Another innovative startup, Sway was the first company to transform mobile devices into FDA-cleared medical devices. Now working with a larger team, he could focus more on marketing initiatives, helping to drive growth, increase profitability and manage the company's HubSpot implementation. Mr. Weber's work with both startups reinforced his expertise in marketing automation, CRM optimization and scaling businesses effectively.
Throughout his career, Mr. Weber has managed HubSpot platforms for every company he has worked with, employing data-driven strategies to enhance revenue operations and business efficiency. His passion for startup growth, entrepreneurship and digital transformation ultimately led him to establish HJ Web Solutions in 2024. Today, his company specializes in helping businesses, ranging from SaaS startups to professional services and healthcare organizations, maximize their digital presence, streamline their sales processes and leverage CRM systems like HubSpot to drive measurable growth.
Entrepreneurship is in Mr. Weber's DNA. Growing up, he was inspired by his grandfather, who founded The HJ Weber Co., a floor covering business that employed much of his family and instilled in him a deep appreciation for building something from the ground up. Knowing from a young age that he wanted to run his own business, Mr. Weber's journey—from freelance video production and cutting-edge VR projects to startup growth and marketing—has all led to where he is today.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Weber is committed to philanthropy and community service. For over a decade, he has volunteered through his church and the Boy Scouts of America. He has also contributed to initiatives like the SeriousFun Children's Network, Cookies for a Cause and the Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal Service of America.
Mr. Weber is engaged with personal, professional and entrepreneurial communities such as the Beta chapter of Phi Kappa Tau, the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society at Ohio University, the Capital Factory, and the 1st Fort Cohort of the Rising Tide Initiative in Texas. He holds certifications in inbound marketing, sales automation, the Sandler Sales Methodology, sales team training and CRM strategy, as well as CPR and AED certifications from the American Heart Association. Additionally, he is trained as a lifeguard by the Red Cross, is a certified open-water scuba diver through the National Association of Underwater Instructors, and is a licensed life insurance agent.
