Hailing from a career spanning nearly four decades, Mr. Garza has honed his expertise in project management by overseeing successful home and restaurant renovations, commercial projects and multi-family and high-rise developments. He is a distinguished general superintendent at Cast Build, where he has been instrumental in managing complex construction endeavors since 2022. In his role, he manages multiple projects and coordinates with assistant superintendents and subcontractors to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety protocols. His responsibilities include reviewing schedules, approving invoices and implementing necessary changes as directed by architects.

Prior to reaching his current role, Mr. Garza served as a project superintendent at Bosa Development from 2019 to 2022. During this time, he was pivotal in the construction of the Diega project in downtown San Diego. This ambitious endeavor involved two towers — one 20 stories and the other 40 stories — comprising over 600 units with a budget of $250 million. His leadership ensured the simultaneous completion of both towers, marking a significant achievement in his career.

As a project manager and superintendent at Oakwood Communities from 2014 to 2019, Mr. Garza completed several important community projects, most notably the Wagon Wheel development in Oxnard, California. The project featured a six-story parking structure surrounded by six-story apartment buildings with more than 600 units. He began his career with roles as a project manager at JG Construction Management from 2011 to 2014 and Romero General Construction from 2008 to 2011, developing a reputation for high-quality work and managing complex construction projects efficiently.

Academically, Mr. Garza completed college coursework that laid the foundation for his successful career in construction management. His father — the owner of Garza Construction, a remodeling company — played an influential role in shaping his work ethic and values, instilling in him the importance of dedication and pride in one's work from an early age. This upbringing led him to start learning concrete finishing at age seven, which provided him with hands-on experience that would later define his professional path. The Garza Family legacy continues with Justin Garza who works as a Project Executive for CBG in San Diego, CA.

In recognition of his storied contributions to the field, Mr. Garza received an Award of Recommendation from the Pala Indian Reservation in 2010 and the Gold Nugget Award in 2008. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys traveling, fishing, motorcycling, hunting and spending time at the beach with his son.
