Beginning his career with various engineering, new product development and operations roles at Swagelok in 1996, Mr. Honcharenko advanced to become the multi-site manufacturing/engineering lab manager at Lubriquip Inc., a business unit of IDEX Corporation, from 2001 to 2005. Between 2005 and 2007, he served as the senior manager for two-handle products at Moen Inc., where he was responsible for engineering, quality control, continuous improvement and supply chain management. In 2007, Mr. Honcharenko joined Philips as a senior project manager for continuous improvement and Six Sigma Black Belt initiatives. Later that year, he transitioned to Alcoa as a director of lean/corporate lean leader and senior operations management consultant until 2014. His tenure at Alcoa was marked by his leadership in turnaround operations in Europe, where he successfully addressed safety concerns, performance issues, delivery delays and customer dissatisfaction for a $3 billion private equity company acquired by Alcoa.

Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Honcharenko was the global director of continuous improvement/operational excellence at Arconic/Howmet Aerospace from 2014 to 2018. He became the senior global AOS at Aleris in 2018 before being acquired by Albany Engineered Composites as the global director of business excellence. During his tenure at Albany Engineered Composites, Mr. Honcharenko also briefly served as the director of operations in Mexico and general manager at Albany Safran Composites in 2019.

Mr. Honcharenko's academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cleveland State University in 1993, a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University in 2001, and a Master of Business Administration in business administration and management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in 2004. He also holds an L3 ABS certification as a master lean trainer from Alcoa and a Six Sigma black belt from IDEX Corporation.

As a dedicated professional, Mr. Honcharenko is active in industry-related organizations such as ASQ and SHRM. Beyond these affiliations, he is actively involved in civic organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. His dedication to community service also included former roles as a volunteer cook for a local soup kitchen and through sponsorships for charities focused on child adoption in Eastern Europe.
