Prior to reaching his current position at Reckitt, Mr. O'Dell was the company's IT&D CIO for Latin America from 2017 to 2023. During this time, he played a pivotal role in managing a significant acquisition in Mexico, which saw the business grow from approximately $750 million to nearly $1.5 billion in value. He was also instrumental in directing the IT function, expanding the team from two to 20 members and developing nearshore capabilities for data analytics and digital marketing technology solutions. His success led to a relocation to the United States to replicate similar achievements.

From 2015 to 2016, Mr. O'Dell served as Reckitt's IS country manager in Brazil, where his talent development efforts led to a remarkable 50 percent of his team gaining promotions. His earlier roles include working as a senior business analyst for Northern and Central Europe from 2012 to 2015 and business analyst for Southern Western Europe from 2007 to 2012. He began his career at Balfour Beatty PLC as a business improvement advisor from 2003 to 2007, where he gained valuable experience that laid the foundation for his future endeavors in IT.

Mr. O'Dell's educational background includes a Master of Science in technology and innovation management and a Bachelor of Science in biology and management studies, both from the University of Sussex. He is also information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) certified, augmenting his ability to understand and deliver necessary technology solutions. Though he embarked upon a non-traditional route to advance through the industry — his background did not include programming, computer science or engineering — he is highly regarded for his unique perspectives and creative solutions.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. O'Dell is actively involved with civic-minded organizations such as Stargard Connect and The Carroll Centre. Having lived in Spain, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico and the United States over the last 15 years, he places a high value on cultural diversity and understanding local languages and customs. As a proud father of two children, he finds joy in reconnecting with communities wherever he goes.
