Mr. Jennings, a distinguished professional engineer and certified information systems auditor, has made significant contributions to the fields of engineering and cybersecurity. Through IPR Technology, an S-Corp he formed in 2019, he provides critical infrastructure cybersecurity consulting services. In addition, Mr. Jennings has been the director of cybersecurity at Plus Group, a Cincinnati-based firm that joined Salas O'Brien in February 2023.

Mr. Jennings served as the director of cybersecurity at Automation Plus (now Salas O'Brien) from 2021 to 2024. In this role, he focused on manufacturing and control system cybersecurity, leveraging his expertise to protect critical infrastructure. Before this, he was an automation and process specialist at CBT from 2006 to 2021, where he was pivotal in guiding and supporting various Rockwell Automation solutions and other high-tech products. Mr. Jennings's early career included positions as a plant engineer at a manufacturing company and a boiler operator at AK Steel.

Mr. Jennings's journey began with his service as a nuclear machinist's mate in the U.S. Navy, where he gained invaluable engineering experience over more than five years. This foundation led him to pursue a career in electrical maintenance, eventually transitioning into roles emphasizing automation and process specialization.

Highly educated, Mr. Jennings earned an Associate of Science in nuclear engineering technology from Thomas Edison State University in 1996, a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, with honors, from the University of Cincinnati in 2004, and a Master of Information Systems in cybersecurity from the University of Phoenix in 2012. These academic achievements have been instrumental in his career progression. Additionally, Mr. Jennings also holds several professional credentials that underscore his expertise. He became a certified cybersecurity auditor and certified information systems auditor through ISACA, has a professional license in control systems, and is recognized by the Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors as a professional engineer. His third-class stationary engineer license further attests to his technical proficiency.

Mr. Jennings is actively involved in several industry-related organizations. He serves as the chapter president of the International Society of Automation and is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). These affiliations reflect his commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing within his field.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Jennings is dedicated to civic engagement as a volunteer firefighter with the Bright Indiana Fire Department. His commitment to community service complements his professional accolades.
