She also has a deep commitment to promoting social impact through her work, especially in rehabilitation and a reduction in recidivism.

At Alcon Laboratories, where she was a founding member of the Women in Networking ERG. Ms. Ward served as a senior internal communications manager from 2010 to 2015, reliant on experience earned earlier in her career as the production coordinator at Morris Communications from 2008 to 2010 and art director at the Radio Advertising Bureau between 1998 and 2008.
Exceptional and diverse academic credentials have further supported Ms. Ward in her career pursuits. In 2008, she earned an associate degree in graphic design from The Art Institute, where she was on the President's List. She then earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in nonprofit management, sociology and art from the University of North Texas in 2010, from which she graduated cum laude. She also proudly holds a master's degree in strategic communications magna cum laude from Purdue University in 2018.
In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Ward has consistently sought leadership and networking opportunities through the installation of, and affiliation with, industry and charitable organizations. To this end, she partners with a number of organizations including the Televerde Foundation, which works with incarcerated women nearing release to help them reintegrate into society and avoid reoffending. She also holds leadership roles in Aventiv PRIDE, AAPI, and the Women in Technology group, where she helps plan events like Women's History Month celebrations, demonstrative of her passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who are working to rebuild their futures.
Ms. Ward's dedication to community relations and corporate social responsibility is evident through her successful establishment of charitable giving and volunteerism programs at both Quisitive and Aventiv Technologies, which she counts as her most notable accomplishment thus far. Throughout her career, she has been duly recognized for such achievements and humbly accepted the President's Award from Alcon in 2015 for exceptional work in planning and executing an event attended by roughly 2,000 employees. Ms. Ward attributes her success thus far to adaptability throughout her career and embracing key opportunities that emerged along the way.

She enjoys spending time outdoors with her Nikon, visiting beaches and immersing herself in books.
