Prior to reaching his position at First Bank, Mr. Hopkins was a commercial banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2017 to 2024. During this time, he honed his skills in financial analysis and client relations, covering companies ranging in sales size from $20 million to $3 billion. His commitment to understanding clients' needs and advocating for them was evident throughout his time at JPMorgan, where he further enhanced his expertise by completing a formal credit training program.

Mr. Hopkins also spent two years as a business English instructor in China at the Shanghai Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2016. This international experience allowed him to gain valuable insights into global business practices while teaching undergraduate students who were preparing for advanced studies abroad. His journey in banking began at Wells Fargo in San Francisco, where he worked as a banker from 2013 to 2014 after graduating from college.

Mr. Hopkins' success in multiple fields largely stems from his educational background, which includes a Master of Arts in international business from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Saint Mary's College of California. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business, expected to be completed in 2025. To augment his qualifications, he is series 6 and series 63 certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Hopkins is known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen. He served as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician in Prince George's County, Maryland, from 2020 to 2022 and was a general member of Kiwanis International during the same period. His involvement with the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department and the Aerospace Defense Forum further underscores his deep commitment to community service.

Mr. Hopkins is also the accomplished author of the book "Deals, Dollars, and Decisions: The Small Business Owner's Financial Guide: for Growth, Mergers, Cash Flow, and Capital Strategies for Success," which reflects his deep understanding of fiscal strategies for small business owners and desire to share his knowledge of the financial industry with others.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Hopkins enjoys paddleboarding, surfing, playing golf and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
