Dr. Menawat's previous tenure as senior manager at Aeroquip Corporation between 1993 and 1997 saw him responsible for its advanced manufacturing technology group and creating a division for advanced computer technologies.

In addition to his primary career objectives, Dr. Menawat has been a member of the board of directors and business advisor for Amfuel (American Fuel Cell & Coated Fabrics Company), a U.S. defense contractor, since 2018. Throughout his career, he has served in various other capacities, including as a symposium chair for the Environmental Engineering and Biology International Biotechnology Symposium. Dr. Menawat has also conducted significant research on applications of differential geometry for process control.

Dr. Menawat taught higher education as an assistant professor at Tulane University from 1986 to 1993, where he directed Ph.D. dissertations and MS and BS theses of many students. He conducted research in non-linear systems dynamics, and microbial metabolism for drug manufacturing and environmental remediation. His earlier experiences also included serving as a process design engineer at Union Carbide, an American chemical company and now a subsidiary of Dow Chemical Company, between 1978 and 1982, troubleshooting and designing new manufacturing plants. In addition to his primary professional roles, Dr. Menawat contributed as a consultant for Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago from 1988 to 1989.

Highly educated, Dr. Menawat received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Maryland in 1978, a Master of Science in chemical engineering from West Virginia University in 1982, and a Doctor of Philosophy in engineering and systems theory from Drexel University in 1986. He is also a registered engineer-in-training in West Virginia.

Dr. Menawat was a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Sigma Xi. Beyond his professional achievements, he is actively involved in his community, supporting and mentoring young entrepreneurs and sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience.

Dr. Menawat's contributions extend to publications such as 2 books – "Profit Mapping" (McGraw Hill, 2006) and "Execution Dynamics" (Amazon, 2012), and several white papers such as "Predictive Operational Analytics: A Holistic Systems Approach to Plan, Manage, and Optimize Business Performance" in 2010. He has also contributed over 25 articles to various scientific and trade journals.
