Before establishing Custom Solar Solutions, Mr. Bowman was the vice president of finance transformation and integration at Americold Logistics from 2022 to 2025. In this role, he led change initiatives that streamlined the business, focusing heavily on organizational design, talent development, process improvement, master data and new technologies. Mr. Bowman's ability to facilitate change effectively is a testament to the mentorship he received throughout his career.

From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Bowman was the vice president of finance transformation at Incora (formerly Wesco Aircraft and Pattonair), the world's largest independent supply chain solutions provider for the aerospace and defense sector. His tenure there was marked by significant contributions to the company's financial restructuring efforts. Mr. Bowman previously served as the vice president of finance transformation and system support at Highmark Health from 2017 to 2021, where he played a pivotal role in developing and leading a five-year, $75 million finance transformation program for the $30 billion health care organization.

Mr. Bowman's career began with Big 4 consulting roles at KPMG, Deloitte and IBM between 1996 and 2017. Earlier in his career, he served as the manager of finance and corporate auditor at General Electric (GE) from 1989 to 1995.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Bowman received a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business management from Cornell University. He also completed the Financial Management Training Program during his tenure at GE and earned Lean Six Sigma green belt certification from IBM and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance from KPMG US. Additionally, Mr. Bowman received certification in solar energy through the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
