In 2023, Ms. Reynolds returned to Spirit AeroSystems as a metallurgical engineer, focusing on defense projects and collaborating closely with suppliers and quality teams.

Ms. Reynolds's education includes a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from South Dakota Mines in 2009 and a master's degree in operations management from Friends University in 2012. Her mentors at these institutions played a pivotal role in encouraging her to persevere through challenges and adapt to new opportunities. This guidance has been crucial in Ms. Reynolds's professional journey, allowing her to take calculated risks and explore various facets of the aerospace industry.

Having developed a passion for aerospace during high school, Ms. Reynolds wrote a report on space and airplanes before ultimately choosing to explore metallurgical engineering as a career path. She was also inspired by her grandfather's interest in aircraft and a demonstration she recalls watching at South Dakota Mines.
