Mr. Haggerty's banking career began in 2009 as a financial institution examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, where he focused on regulatory oversight and examination of financial institutions. His work was crucial in maintaining confidence in the banking industry by ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations. In 2014, he transitioned to The Bancorp Inc. as an enterprise compliance manager before joining U.S. Bank as a senior internal auditor in 2015. Subsequently, he was a senior compliance officer at First Dakota National Bank from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to his consulting business, Mr. Haggerty is an instructor at the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado and an instructional facilitator at BankIn Minnesota. His passion for education led him to establish Tuscan Club University in 2019, where he developed the nation's first fair lending school and certification programs. This initiative has certified over 250 individuals and allowed him to speak and conduct training sessions nationwide.

Mr. Haggerty also had a distinguished military career, which included roles as an aircraft maintenance officer with the 114th Fighter Wing of the South Dakota Air National Guard from 2004 to 2020 and service in the U.S. Air Force from 2000 to 2004. His dedication earned him accolades such as the Achievement Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. He retired from military service as an officer in 2020.

Mr. Haggerty's academic achievements include a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota in 2008, a Bachelor of Science in communication studies and media production with minors in journalism and sociology from South Dakota State University, and an Associate of Applied Science in avionics systems technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 2004. Mr. Haggerty holds numerous certifications and has been credentialed as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager by the American Bankers Association and a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer by the Independent Community Bankers of America.
