Since 2022, he has served as the Programs Manager at HCB Yachts in Vonore, Tennessee, overseeing all yacht models and managing over $200 million in annual sales. Mr. Turner's leadership played a key role in successfully launching the HCB 48-foot Campeón at the Miami International Boat Show, where it won the Innovation Award. This achievement highlights his dedication to innovation and excellence.
Before joining HCB Yachts, Mr. Turner worked at Honeywell International Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri, from 2019 to 2021. As a mechanical engineer and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he managed a team of engineers and played a pivotal role in various projects as a federal defense contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy. Mr. Turner's expertise in engineering design reviews and Six Sigma methodologies significantly contributed to his success.
Mr. Turner was recruited to Honeywell from Ford Motor Company in Allen Park, Michigan. From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a vehicle integration engineer and competitor benchmarking lead at Ford Performance. In this role, he was responsible for integrating new technologies into vehicle designs and benchmarking competitors to ensure Ford's competitive edge. Prior to this role, Mr. Turner served as a design and release engineer within Ford Performance from 2015 to 2017 and within Ford and Lincoln Core Engineering from 2014 to 2015.
Mr. Turner's civilian success has been complemented by his military background as a retired sergeant and squad leader in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2008 to 2015. This opportunity allowed him to hone his leadership skills and become more disciplined.
Highly educated, Mr. Turner earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University in 2014 and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University in 2021. He also holds credentials as a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
As a dedicated volunteer, Mr. Turner has been affiliated with organizations such as the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, the Fisher House Foundation, Project SOS, and the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Turner's drive for continuous improvement is fueled by his competitive nature and the unwavering support of his parents throughout his life.
